This is the second part of a walk-and-talk episode where I share with you my five biggest lessons of the year, which I did in last week’s episode (E67). And this week I’m going to talk to you more about my intentions for the next year. Five big intentions that I have for the upcoming next 12 months.
Intention number one that I have for the upcoming year is learning how to master something. I mean really mastering something and truly embodying it.
I have been a person that always got quickly bored with things. I changed my job a lot. I changed my hobbies, and I didn’t really ever stick with something. I got very quickly bored and I think that was always at a time when the novelty wore off. That something was just not new anymore, and it wasn’t anymore this huge learning curve.
But that is the point when you go deep and when you start to embody something and really become the master and completely understand it.
And I never waited for that place to happen. I thought it was better to move on and learn something new instead of mastering what I just learned.
And I think I have changed my perspective on this now and want to master something.
What am I gonna master? Obviously, it’s going to be delivering my program and helping people to learn how to change. Really see it through and help people to go through this program so I can serve and help others to change.
I want to master the material and the content and get good at delivering it. That is my target for the next year. I am looking forward to becoming the Master of Change.
So intention number two is about not working so hard. I have always been somebody who has worked hard for what I got and what I’ve achieved. And that is not really the problem. But it just doesn’t get me further towards where I want to go. Working hard doesn’t mean you are going to be successful, it’s not a straight line.
There are lots of people out there that work hard and they’re not successful, so working hard is not the solution. One day I said: “It cannot be the solution. There needs to be something else.”
What I have discovered is that it’s about working on yourself. That is the solution.
And with working on myself, I mean, doing the inner work and looking deeper, letting go of what does not serve me anymore. All the stuff that I normally talk to you about.
Some people say working harder doesn’t work, but working smarter. Well, that is just half true. It doesn’t get you there either. If you don’t work on yourself and you don’t develop your inner world, working smart is going to limit you at some point as well.
So it’s about doing the work inside of us and that is about being. It’s not about the doing and the hard work, but it’s about being.
So for the next year, I am going to ask myself: What is my intention of being?
Focus less on working hard, and doing the work inside of me so I can be the person that I really, truly want to be.
The third of my 5 intentions is all about trust. I have already learned a lot about trusting the universe and trusting myself. And at the same time, I have a long way to go.
It’s about knowing that I will be alright and embodying the trust that everything good will come to me.
I’m still very controlling. I still want to figure it all out and know all of the steps and how it will unfold. But that’s not how it works.
And as you know, I actually teach this so I should know better.
Of course, we’re always working on something. And for me, that is letting go of a lot of doubt that I have about myself and how I’m going to end up. I want to get good at trusting the universe and trusting myself. Trust my capabilities and my skills and just focus on the outcome that I wanna achieve.
Just live my life to the fullest and let the universe do the magic. Trusting that it knows what is best for me and letting it just happen.
It’s about trusting and letting go of that control.
Over the last year, I have focused a lot on my money mindset and really letting go of a lot of limiting money beliefs. Working on changing my money mindset and feeling abundant in my life.
Feeling abundant is not all about money, but that is where most of the issues come from, about the beliefs and what we think money is.
In the next year, one of my intentions is to understand more about what money truly is and then apply that knowledge. Bringing new information into my life and embodying it so I can feel more and more abundant in my life.
And just feeling better about money, having better thoughts about money, and knowing what money truly is.
Number five of my intentions for the upcoming year is to travel again. In the first half of the year, I have been travelling a lot. If you have been following me for a while, you know that I’ve been to a lot of places in the first half of the year.
And then in the last 6 months, I have not been travelling much. I have been more focused on my certification as an NSC consultant and being able to bring that program to everybody. And then I have been focusing on building my business. Now that this is up and running, I want to go back to travel again.
I always receive lots of insights when I travel. It’s about being in a different environment and just not being at home in my routines. It helps me to develop more quickly than when I’m at home.
Additionally, I have made so many new friends, like-minded people, and fantastic people all around the world through the NCS training and the work with Dr Joe Dispenza. I want to visit a few of them, see where they live and spend time with them.
I’m just so grateful for having met these amazing people, and I still speak to them via Zoom but it’s just not the same as seeing them in person.
My fifth intention about travel is probably more a wish than anything else. But the intention behind the travel is important as it is all about growth and self-actualization.
I hope you enjoyed my sharing my 5 intentions for the coming year.
