I’m sharing five things that most people would call weird, extreme, or even unrealistic. But these choices have transformed my life for the better, and I’m not turning back.We live in a world that constantly defines what is “normal.” But the truth is, there is no normal—just an average of everyone’s behaviors. Maybe the “weirdness” you’re holding back is exactly what will bring you peace, joy, and balance. My hope is that by sharing my experiences, I’ll inspire you to embrace your own version of weird—because nothing bad happens when you do. In fact, life might just get way better.
This one shocks people the most—I don’t watch, listen to, or read the news. And when people realize how little I know about current events, they’re often stunned.
The truth is, the news isn’t about providing factual, neutral information anymore. It’s all about sensation, drama, and keeping us in a state of fear and anxiety. I decided years ago that I didn’t want to engage in that energy, and every year, I take it even further.
If I’m at an airport or hear news playing in the background somewhere, I immediately tune it out. It doesn’t add value to my life. Instead of lowering my energy by consuming negative news, I focus on what I can control—my mindset, my actions, and how I contribute to the world. My time is better spent helping people, creating content, and making a positive impact.
And just to clarify—I still vote and make informed decisions. I don’t need to follow the daily drama of politics to be a responsible citizen. I trust that if something truly important happens, the information will find its way to me through the right channels.
The result? More peace, less stress, and total freedom from the emotional rollercoaster that many people experience daily because of the news.
This one is relatively new to my life, but it’s been a game-changer. Every Sunday, I dedicate a big chunk of my day to preparing meals for the entire week.
Some people think it’s extreme—why spend so much time on this? The answer is simple: it saves me time, energy, and decision fatigue during the week. I no longer have to stress about what to eat, make last-minute unhealthy choices, or spend time cooking when I’m busy. It’s all ready to go.
A few months ago, I reached a breaking point with my eating habits. I knew I wanted to be healthier, more mindful about my food choices, and more disciplined. And then, the idea of meal prep just clicked for me. Since starting, I’ve seen results—not just in my physical health, but in my overall energy and mental clarity.
Every Sunday, I prep breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the next five to six days. It’s not about strict dieting; I still allow myself flexibility on the weekends. But having a structured meal plan has given me control over my nutrition and well-being.
Is it time-consuming? Yes. But when I compare it to the time I used to spend thinking about, shopping for, and preparing food daily, meal prep actually saves me time. Plus, I feel empowered knowing I’m fueling my body properly.
This book is not light reading. If you’ve never heard of A Course in Miracles, it’s a deep spiritual text that focuses on shifting your perception from fear to love. It’s intense, complex, and requires a lot of daily reflection—but it has completely changed the way I see the world.
Some people find it too out-there or difficult to grasp, but I felt called to read it. It wasn’t something I could have understood years ago, but now, I’m ready for its lessons. To hold myself accountable, I record daily reflections and share them on YouTube. If you ever decide to go through the workbook, you can follow along with my journey.
It’s a commitment—the workbook takes a full year to complete. But the insights I’m gaining from this experience are invaluable.
Towards the end of last year, I felt an overwhelming need to take my energy back. I was part of multiple Telegram groups—business chats, networking circles, hobby groups—but they no longer served me.
So, I left.
Some might call it extreme, but I knew I needed to step away from the noise and distractions. Instead of constantly engaging in group conversations, I’ve focused on my own growth and inner work.
This isn’t about cutting people out of my life—it’s about being intentional with my energy. I still maintain meaningful relationships, but I no longer feel the need to be plugged into everything all the time. And honestly? It’s been incredibly freeing.
Yes, I quit social media—even as someone who runs an online business. People thought I was crazy. “How will you reach people?” “Won’t this hurt your success?”
But here’s what I realized: social media was draining my energy, distracting me, and making me compare myself to others in ways that weren’t productive. It wasn’t giving me anything valuable in return.
Instead of spreading myself thin across multiple platforms, I decided to focus on what truly brings me joy—YouTube and my podcast. These are the places where I feel the most connected to my audience and where I can create meaningful content without the noise of social media.
And guess what? I don’t miss Instagram. I don’t miss Facebook. I don’t feel like I’m missing out. Important information still finds me, and I trust that the right people will find my content through the platforms I do use.
At the end of the day, we all have habits and choices that might seem weird to others. But if they bring you peace, joy, and fulfillment—who cares?
People might think you’re extreme. They might not understand your choices. But the truth is, this is your life. No one will ever thank you for playing it safe, for trying to fit in, or for ignoring your own needs.
So, what’s your “weird” thing? What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but held back because of what others might think? This is your invitation to embrace it fully.
Let me know in the comments or reviews—what’s your number one crazy? I want to hear it!
Thanks for being here today. I loved sharing this with you, and I can’t wait for our next time together. Until then, embrace your weirdness—it just might be your superpower!
