I am pretty sure you all have heard someone say before how powerful meditation is and yes, I am going to say it, too: Meditation is powerful!
And at the same time, there are so many ways to meditate and I am going to share with you my preferred way of meditating. If you are a go-getter, action seeker and love to get sh!t done then this kind of meditation might be for you.
At the start of my meditation journey, I dabbled through different apps, styles, sitting differently while trying to get comfortable. I would not say I tried it all but I tried a lot. And I think that is fairly normal.
There are a million ways of meditating and you need to find the one that works for you best at this moment in your life. And it is probably going to change. You evolve all the time, every day and your spiritual practices evolve with you.
It’s like going to the gym. If you have the goal to build up your muscles on your first day in the gym you will start with probably the lowest weight possible and fewer reps. But you would never expect your muscles to build properly if you just stay at this level and keep doing the same thing for months. No, you increase the weight over time and you increase the amounts of reps or sessions at the gym.
It´s the same with any spiritual practises you start in your life. You start small and simple and with time and training you get better, you try out new versions and you can go longer and deeper. And the benefits are so much bigger than the muscles from the gym🙂
You might be in a position where you don’t know where to start or how to meditate as you want to select the best and get it the right the first time. Well, hello overachiever. Of course, you want to get it right the first time around and get results straight away. I know how you think as this is literally me.
I will share with you the kind of meditation that suits me really well as it allows me to take action while meditating. And with actions, I mean letting go of emotions, welcoming emotions that I rather want, increasing my feel-good vibration and connecting quicker with my higher self for insights and ideas.
I am not going to tell you how to meditate. I actually prefer that nobody tells you there is just one best way to meditate. There are a million ways of meditating and all of them are right. So please do not believe anyone that there is just one way to get this right.
If you are like me and you love to get things done, you want to develop further constantly and love to tick things off your list then you might like the same kind of meditations that I found just over a year ago.
There are wonderful meditating practices out there and I always feel wonderful during and after these meditations. But I really love to meditate with a purpose. That´s what I call these kinds of meditations now: purposeful meditations.
I fell in love with this kind of meditation a year ago. There was this one meditation from Dr Joe Dispenza. You start by answering a few questions and taking some notes and then you used this preparation during the meditation. This particular meditation was built so that you would start to let go of particular emotions, thoughts and behaviours. And then replace them with emotions, thoughts and behaviours that you rather want to have.
I still have the notes from the first time I went through this meditation. Looking back at it I can see how much I have developed and let go over the last year. I am such a different person now and in such a better place.
The changes that started happening in my life were huge! Today if somebody asked me what kind of monetary value I would give this one meditation: thousands of dollars. The development I made by doing this meditation regularly for a few weeks was priceless.
I find that a lot of meditations by Dispenza are like that. He guides you through a so-called exercise, you have a goal during the meditation. And that’s what I love: meditating with a purpose.
And maybe you are someone who loves to reach goals, so this kind of meditation might inspire you and can bring you similar transformations.
Another benefit I am getting from it is the manifesting power and the messages and insights that I receive from my subconscious mind. While meditating on positive emotions, amazing pictures come into my mind. I receive solutions to problems that I have not solved yet or ideas for my business even if it’s just about the next step to take. And I started listening to them and things in my life started flowing more easily.
“Another important tip for you when you meditate with a purpose is for you to enhance your emotions.“
Emotions are energy in motion. Everything is energy and our emotions are much more powerful than we think. We think that our thoughts are powerful and they are – but the vibrational energy of emotions is so much stronger. Focusing on the emotion that you want to welcome into your life while meditating, is the true manifesting power. So put a lot of power into your emotions. It´s not so easy at the beginning but you will develop. Like a muscle in the gym – you can increase your emotional power.
Last but not least, I am now regularly meditating. Before I would dip in and out of the process because nothing was really working for me. Since I see the transformation it brings to my life, you can be sure that I am not letting it go again. I would be stupid to do so.
As I mentioned, I really liked Dispenza’s meditation. But I wanted to make it my own and expand on certain things. So I decided to create my own guided meditation that is inspired by this one meditation. I wanted others to have the same eye-opening experience.

I love to meditate with a purpose, to actually use the time during my meditation wisely and get stuff done. That could be to change a habit, connect with “my happy place” or increase the love I feel for myself.
